THE STORY
Reported Haunting
The Old Dominion Commercial Company Building is reportedly haunted by at least two spirits. Disembodied footsteps on the second floor are attributed in local lore to an elderly bookkeeper said to be searching for missing ledger books. Visitors have also reported sobbing, screams, and an unseen entity that throws objects.
This former general merchandise store in Globe has paranormal stories involving a deceased bookkeeper, unexplained footsteps and voices, and poltergeist-like activity.
