Local folklore says a newlywed couple died in a crash along Cedarvale Road, leaving the bride's spirit to search its thirteen curves for her missing groom. Drivers have reported a woman in white, unexplained lights, and a vanishing hitchhiker, although historians note that the legend may have begun as a story intended to frighten reckless teenagers.
