Reported Haunting
The Red Garter is said to be haunted by several spirits from its long history as a saloon, bordello, opium den, restaurant, store, and boarding house. The best-known apparition is a sad young Hispanic woman with long dark hair known as Eva, seen in the Best Gal's Room. Guests have also reported mattresses shaking or bouncing, unseen figures sitting on beds and stroking their hair or arms, a cowboy apparition, and unexplained rattling doorknobs.
Built in 1897, this historic Williams bed and breakfast has accumulated numerous paranormal stories involving apparitions and unexplained physical contact.
