The historic 1833 Umpleby House in New Hope is associated with local ghost stories connected to its long history. Reports of unexplained activity and lingering spirits have contributed to the property's reputation as one of the area's haunted locations.
Mill runners Colonel Buckley and Mr. Black are said to haunt this inn. Look for the light from the Colonel’s lantern bobbing through the halls.
