Reported Haunting
The Port Adelaide Lighthouse is said to be haunted by former lighthouse keepers Henry Franson and Charles McGowen, who reportedly died when the lighthouse was struck by a ship and collapsed into the sea while located at an earlier site. Visitors have reported seeing and hearing their spirits around the lighthouse. Local paranormal lore also speaks of the ghosts of a young boy and girl.
