THE STORY
Reported Haunting
Waverly Hills Sanatorium operated as a tuberculosis hospital from 1910 until 1961 and witnessed thousands of patient deaths during the height of the epidemic. Visitors have reported shadow figures, phantom footsteps, disembodied voices, the spirit of a young nurse in Room 502, and unexplained activity along the infamous body chute. Its tragic medical history has made Waverly Hills one of the world's most famous haunted locations.
Ghost Atlas has a published record for this location, but a full narrative has not yet been added.
