THE STORY
Reported Haunting
The Utopia at Waterfall Gully is reportedly haunted by an apparition described as a man in a glowing blue uniform. The figure is believed in local ghost lore to be Constable Tregoweth, who died in a bushfire near the hotel in the early twentieth century. Other reports include objects moving by themselves and disembodied voices.
This historic restaurant and former hotel has long been associated with reports of poltergeist-like activity, unexplained voices, and the apparition of a uniformed man surrounded by a blue glow.
