The historic DuPre House is said to be haunted by the lingering spirit of its longtime owner, whose presence is still felt throughout the home.
Located at 921 Prince Street in Georgetown, the DuPre House dates to the early 1800s and has long been associated with paranormal activity. According to local accounts, the spirit of former owner Ann DuPre is believed to remain in the house. Witnesses have reported seeing an elderly woman dressed in period clothing, hearing unexplained footsteps, doors opening and closing on their own, and sensing an unseen presence moving through the historic residence.
