Billy's Bar & Grill has produced reports of apparitions, cold spots, unexplained voices and objects such as cups, silverware and glassware apparently moving without an obvious cause.
Billy's Bar & Grill occupies the historic Crowther-Wooding Building in downtown Aberdeen. The restaurant takes its name from notorious local figure Billy Gohl, although historical research indicates that Gohl's union office and alleged crimes were associated with another nearby location. The restaurant itself nevertheless has an established paranormal reputation. Staff, visitors and paranormal investigators have reported unexplained cold spots, apparitions, voices, and dishes, silverware or other objects moving or falling without an apparent cause. Historical accounts also document a fatal shooting in the upstairs rooms when that portion of the building was used for lodging and related businesses.
