Floating apparitions of monks are reportedly seen around land once associated with an abbey and a legendary curse.
According to local legend, the site was once connected with an abbey dissolved during the reign of Henry VIII. A monk supposedly placed a curse on anyone who destroyed the remains of a surrounding wall. Portions of the wall are said to survive, while apparitions described as floating monks have reportedly been seen and filmed around the property.
