The faces of five maids who reportedly died from asphyxiation are said to appear in the Blue Room, where visitors also report being touched by unseen hands.
The Blue Room at Aberglasney is considered the property's most active location. According to the haunting account, five maids died there after being asphyxiated by fumes from a stove used while plaster was drying. Visitors report seeing the women's faces and feeling invisible hands touch them. A fugitive who was reportedly murdered on the grounds is also said to haunt the estate.
