THE STORY

Reported Haunting

Built in 1908, the Adams Hotel provided accommodations for railroad travelers passing through Lavina. The historic building's long association with generations of guests has inspired stories of unexplained activity and possible lingering spirits from its early years.

This historic hotel was built in 1908 to provide accommodation for railroad travelers in the area. The building is believed to have two ghostly residents, which have been seen more and more frequently since the renovations began recently. The first is that of a former hotel employee, who has been seen lying on a bed on the upper floor in a seemingly irritated manner. The second is a woman in a white dress, who has been seen sitting in a rocking chair in the entrance hall. There are currently plans to convert the historic hotel to a delightful museum.
