THE STORY
Reported Haunting
Aldgate tube station has a famous reputation for paranormal activity, largely stemming from being built over a 17th-century bubonic plague pit. Legends feature mysterious footsteps and a "ghostly angel"—an elderly woman reportedly seen stroking the hair of a track worker who miraculously survived a 20,000-volt electric shock.
Ghost Atlas has a published record for this location, but a full narrative has not yet been added.
