The building occupied by American Legion Post 308 reportedly began as an eighteenth-century farmhouse before later being converted for other uses. Its long history has inspired stories of unexplained activity and possible lingering spirits connected to the property's earlier occupants.
It was once a 1700s farmhouse before it was turned into apartment buildings. Now, this American Legion post seems to be haunted by a spirit from its past. An apparition of a lady in black near the fireplace and another of a man standing behind the bar have been known to appear, as well as a tall shadowy man on the third floor.
