Paranormal activity reported at the Angel Rose Bed and Breakfast includes lights switching on and off without explanation. Guests and staff have also described doors opening by themselves and unexplained footsteps moving through the historic house. Some believe the activity is connected to former occupants who remain attached to the property.
The 1881 bed and breakfast is one of only a few historic buildings left on the southern coast of this small township, as many have been destroyed by hurricanes, neglect and fire over the course of a century. Paranormal activity reported at this location includes lights turning on and off by themselves, the apparition of a woman in an old-fashioned dress who appears in mirrors, disembodied footsteps and a spirit with a penchant for saltwater taffy.
