THE STORY
Reported Haunting
The property's ghost lore centers on its infamous, subterranean "Monster Wine Cellar". The basement tunnels structurally connect directly to the adjacent, historically haunted Fox Theatre, and previously served as dressing rooms for 20th-century vaudeville and stage performers.Staff members, patrons, and professional ghost hunters have documented intense supernatural phenomena here, including:Residual Auditory Hauntings: Paranormal investigators have captured electronic voice phenomena (EVPs) of disembodied theater performers whispering and singing in the vacant basement corridors.Poltergeist Activity: Late-night employees frequently reported an unnerving presence, sudden localized cold spots, and heavy wine bottles inexplicably shifting or rattling on their display racks.
People will often catch the glimpse of an elderly man in the corner of their eyes. Psychics report that he is friendly, though not alone. The other spirits include two women (one elderly and the other young), a farmer type, and various people in period outfits. The basement is said to be very unnerving, but one explanation is that it is connected to the Fox Theater which also said to be very, if not, more haunted. It is believed that all ghosts here are harmless and peaceful.
