This area is associated with the devastating Angola Horror railroad disaster of 1867, when a passenger train derailed and caught fire, killing dozens of people. The scale and tragedy of the accident have inspired stories of lingering spirits and unexplained activity near the historic crash site.
A train derailment in 1867 sparked a fire which killed 49 people. Located right by Pigman Road, an energy draws people to the site, but also with the feeling of uneasiness. Many investigators stop by to see if they can catch a glimpse of the victims still present at this location.
