THE STORY

Reported Haunting

Built in 1889, the historic Ann Starrett Mansion has developed a reputation for being home to several resident spirits. Guests and staff have reported apparitions, unexplained sounds, and other mysterious activity throughout the ornate Victorian property.

This glorious 1899 mansion, now a hotel, is home to several resident spirits. The first is that of a red haired woman in a white gown, who has been seen floating through the hotel and on the stairs. She is believed to be the apparition of Ann Starrett, the namesake of the building. Other apparitions include George Starrett, former owner of the house, and the “Nanny”, who has been seen in a black dress wandering through the house and keeping an eye on the guests.
