The Art Deco Avenue Theatre in West Plains has been associated with reports of unexplained paranormal activity. Visitors and employees have described mysterious sounds, unusual movements, and other strange occurrences within the historic mid-twentieth-century theater.
The 1950s Art Deco Avenue Theatre is home to some strange activity. A baby’s voice can be heard crying in the upper seating areas, flickering lights have been seen when it is dark, and props are moved or hidden by unseen hands.
