Ball Cemetery is linked to numerous Nebraska ghost legends involving apparitions among its nineteenth-century graves. Stories describe an angry male figure, a woman said to tug at visitors' clothing, strange lights, and other unexplained activity, though the privately maintained cemetery should not be entered without permission.
