THE STORY
Reported Haunting
The Beverly Hotel (originally opened in 1920 as the Envoy Hotel) on historic Euclid Avenue in Ontario, California, is a long-abandoned building plagued by persistent paranormal activity. Passersby and urban explorers frequently spot a dark shadow figure standing in a second-floor corner window staring blankly up at the third floor. The property is also heavily disrupted by classic poltergeist phenomena, including disembodied footsteps pacing the second floor, unexplainable cold spots, flickering lights, and a phantom force that repeatedly triggers the building's fire alarms throughout the day.
At this site used to stand the Beverly Hotel; reports are unclear as to what stands here now. At the Beverly, shadows were seen in the southwest 2nd floor corner window, and visitors heard footsteps and fire alarms. Also reported were flickering lights and cold spots.
