THE STORY
Reported Haunting
The Blacksmith's Arms—a historic pub in Pluckley, famously known as England’s most haunted village—earned the nickname "The Spectre Arms" due to its intense paranormal reputation. Upstairs rooms are said to be roamed by a phantom Cavalier, while a ghostly Tudor maid wanders the lower levels. Guests and staff have also reported a phantom coachman who stares wistfully out from the fireplace in the public lounge.
Reports say that there is a cavalier who is still seen here, generally in the upstairs rooms.
