The Blue Ghost Tunnel was built beneath the Welland Canal in Ontario before being abandoned in the early twentieth century. Visitors have reported mysterious blue lights, shadow figures, unexplained voices, and phantom footsteps echoing through the tunnel. Its abandoned appearance and long history have made it one of Canada's most famous haunted tunnels.
