THE STORY
Reported Haunting
Bodie Ghost Town preserves one of the West's most authentic boomtowns, abandoned after California's gold rush faded. Visitors have reported ghostly figures, unexplained footsteps, mysterious voices, and strange occurrences inside the weathered buildings. Local legend also warns of the "Bodie Curse," said to follow anyone who removes an artifact from the town.
