THE STORY

Reported Haunting

The former Bono Bridge in Bono, Arkansas (a historic 1882 wooden structure demolished in 2011) is legendary for its chilling railroad hauntings. A transparent, light-colored apparition of a young child is frequently spotted walking along the train tracks directly beneath the bridge site. According to local lore, if you stand at the location when a train passes under, the agonizing screams of a boy who reportedly fell from the old low-clearance deck and was struck by a train can still be heard echoing over the engine roar. The area carries a lingering, heavy energy, fueled by decades of rumors that occult groups once gathered under the bridge's dark wooden slats to perform midnight rituals.

The bridge was demolished in 2011, and the map shows its original location. According to local folklore, those who stood on the bridge and looked down at the railroad tracks below when a train was coming had the distinct feeling that the train was about to hit them. Apparitions and strange noises are said to occur in the area, erupting from alleged satanic rituals performed in the past.
