Brandon Hill in Bristol, UK, is famously haunted by the ghost of Jim Falkner, an 18th-century drummer boy. According to local lore, he deserted his military post, was marched onto the hill, and was executed by a firing squad. On cold winter nights, visitors to the park and the iconic Cabot Tower frequently report hearing the eerie, muffled sound of his phantom drums echoing through the dark.
