Built in 1874, Briarhurst Manor Estate is said to be haunted by ghosts who send vases hurtling throught the air and set silverware dancing on plates. Ghost children have been seen running and bouncing a ball, and in the master bedroom, the motion detector is set off by something not quite of this Earth. Witness tell of footsteps in a tiny pointed children’s Victorian boot that have led to a room where the children slept in the home’s older days. The estate was featured on TV’s “Ghost Hunters.”
