Historic Brownsville Farm has been associated with reports of paranormal activity connected to its long history. Visitors have described unexplained footsteps, mysterious sounds, apparitions, and other unusual occurrences believed to be connected to former residents of the property.
This house dates back to 1806, and is now owned and operated by the Nature Conservancy. It is said that there is a playful ghost on the premises that likes to grab people’s feet while they’re sleeping. (Some believe the ghost only targets female virgins, for some reason.)
