Camp Chase Confederate Cemetery is associated with reports of ghostly Civil War soldiers still standing watch over the graves. Visitors have described apparitions in uniform, phantom footsteps, and unexplained voices near the memorial. Strange lights and an overwhelming sense of sorrow have also been reported after sunset.
At Camp Chase Confederate Cemetery there is a weeping Lady in Gray who visits, leaving flowers on a soldier’s grave. She wears a Civil War-era gray suit and has been heard crying.
