THE STORY
Reported Haunting
Cardinal Stritch University has been the subject of campus ghost stories involving unexplained footsteps, voices, and shadow figures inside older buildings. Students and staff have reported unusual activity after dark, particularly in quiet hallways and classrooms. Some believe former clergy and residents remain connected to the campus.
Students like to scare one another with tales about the Cardinal Stritch dorms, where sickly nuns were allegedly housed long ago and one of them is said to still linger. The ghostly nun is said to tear posters off walls, cause objects to fall, and walk or run up and down the halls.
