THE STORY
Reported Haunting
Carnton served as a field hospital following the Battle of Franklin in 1864, where hundreds of wounded Confederate soldiers were treated. Visitors have reported apparitions, phantom footsteps, unexplained voices, and shadowy figures throughout the historic home and surrounding grounds.
