THE STORY
Reported Haunting
Castello di Amorosa is said to be haunted by several apparitions, including a Spanish woman in the South Tower, a ghostly stable boy and a plague victim reportedly seen in the castle tunnels.
Castello di Amorosa is a modern Tuscan-style castle winery in Napa Valley constructed using traditional methods and large quantities of reclaimed and imported European building material. Paranormal folklore proposes that some spirits may have arrived attached to those older materials. Reported apparitions include a Spanish woman in the South Tower, a young stable boy wandering the castle, and a figure described as a plague victim appearing in the underground tunnels and cellars.
