Catfish Plantation has developed a well-known reputation for paranormal activity within its historic Victorian-era building. Guests and employees have reported apparitions, unexplained footsteps, moving objects, and other unusual occurrences attributed to spirits said to inhabit the property.
Seen on many TV shows, Catfish Plantation was a historic house that was turned into a restaurant. The spirits attached to the town must have liked the idea. The friendly haunts here have been reported to flirt with the women, brew up a pot of coffee, or set fry baskets floating through the air. Plenty of apparitions also have been seen, and each ghost seems to have its own personality. The spirits are each said to be linked to former residents of the town.
