THE STORY

Reported Haunting

The historic 1902 Knearl Building—which operated as the Cattleman's Inn before becoming the Corral Sports Bar & Grill—is the cultural heart of Brush, Colorado, with over a century of transient history. While local legends of restless cowboys persist due to its past as a rugged hotel popular with ranch hands, the building features very little documented paranormal activity compared to nearby regional haunts. Most odd occurrences are attributed to its old structure, though patrons still swap tales of lingering spirits from its frontier days.

Formerly known as the Cattleman’s Inn, this 1902 brick building no longer houses a hotel. However, visitors have reported hearing disembodied footsteps and seeing the apparition of a woman.
