The Cerritos Air Disaster Crash Site—the neighborhood intersection at Carmenita Road and 183rd Street in Cerritos, California, where Aeroméxico Flight 498 tragically crashed in 1986—is heavily plagued by lingering residual energy. Local residents and passersby frequently report seeing glowing, phantom orbs floating down the streets, encountering sudden localized cold spots, and hearing the unsettling, disembodied sounds of metal twisting, sirens wailing, and phantom screams echoing through the night.
In 1986, two airplanes collided, one of which crashed into a neighborhood killing 82 altogether. At night and early in the morning, apparitions can be seen walking around and there’s an overall eerie feeling as if you aren’t alone.
