Chateau L'Acadienne has been associated with reports of paranormal activity connected to its historic surroundings. Visitors have described unexplained footsteps, mysterious sounds, and other unusual occurrences suggesting that an unseen presence may linger within the property.
This 1870’s bed and breakfast inn was built during the gold rush era, and is rumoured to be haunted. Guests claim to have encountered the apparition of a young woman in an old-fashioned dress, who has been known to move jewellery around rooms at night. Word is though that this B&B closed down in 2009.
