THE STORY

Reported Haunting

Local ghost lore says voices and unexplained lights are encountered around the graves of Sandusky's cholera victims. (Submission by Adrian Gonzalez)

Sandusky's former Harrison Street burial ground became known as Cholera Cemetery after hundreds of victims of the devastating 1849 epidemic were buried there, many in common graves. Regional ghost lore later attached angry voices and unexplained lights to the cemetery.
