THE STORY
Reported Haunting
Christiana Fire Company Station 12 in Delaware is widely rumored by its personnel to be occupied by two distinct spirits. One is a gentle, rarely seen presence, while the other is an active, darker entity that frequently manifests as a shadowy figure lingering in the engineer’s chamber doorway. Local news outlets and paranormal enthusiasts often feature the station on regional Halloween tours due to these recurring, unexplained encounters.
Some say two ghosts, one evil and one kind, haunt the station, formerly known as Station 3. The evil spirit appears as a shadow in the engineer’s room doorway. The kind ghost rarely is seen, but it is believed that he keeps the evil ghost from leaving the hallway where it appears. Witnesses say they have felt an ongoing struggle between the two entities.
