THE STORY

Reported Haunting

The former Cinema 1-2-3 movie theater site on Highland Avenue in Hollywood, California, is famously haunted by a mischievous poltergeist nicknamed "Fred." While the building was standing, projectionists and theater staff routinely witnessed heavy equipment moving entirely on its own, caught electronic voice phenomena (EVPs) of disembodied whispers, and reported sudden, intense drops in temperature near the concession stands.

Three boys were usually seen here, all of which were transparent. One boy was apparently thrown off of the roof and sometimes, people would see a shadow being tossed off of the roof. The site has since been demolished, but the activity could possibly remain there.
