THE STORY
Reported Haunting
Library staff and visitors have reported unexplained footsteps, books moving on their own, and sightings of a ghostly patron within the historic library building.
Those looking for a book to read at the Clinton Community Library may just find a ghost story. Ghosts are said to haunt the library day and night, whispering or knocking books down from the shelves. Their footsteps have been heard walking or climbing the stairs.
