Reported Haunting
Coalhouse Fort is considered one of England's most haunted military fortifications. Visitors have reported apparitions of soldiers, unexplained footsteps echoing through the tunnels, and disembodied voices inside the underground passages. Shadow figures and sudden cold spots are frequently reported during paranormal investigations.
The history of this location dates back to ancient times; some of those who oversaw this building are very well said to remain. In the tunnels, many report shadows, full-bodied apparitions, and mist showing up in photographs. Some people have been grabbed or had objects thrown at them. In the washroom, a very nasty spirit named Harry throws chairs, lightbulbs, stones, or whatever he can get his hands on.
