THE STORY
Reported Haunting
The historic Comstock Lodge has become known for reports of ghostly figures, unexplained voices, and mysterious activity tied to Virginia City's mining era. Guests have reported encounters in several rooms of the lodge.
One visitor was snapping photos (in room 8); a clear shadow manifested in one of these photos. The photographer theorized that it might have been the ghost Henry Comstock who killed himself and chose to return to this location.
