THE STORY
Reported Haunting
The Culver Studios in Culver City, California, is famously haunted by its founder, silent film mogul Thomas Ince, who died under scandalous, mysterious circumstances in 1924 after a party on William Randolph Hearst’s yacht. His restless, shadowy spirit is frequently spotted by studio workers pacing the catwalks or walking the grand corridors of "The Mansion" administration building to keep an eye on operations. The colonial structure is heavily disrupted by poltergeist activity, including phantom footsteps, unexplainable water faucets self-activating in empty restrooms, and the recurring apparition of a spectral woman clad in a long, flowing dress drifting through the rooms.
Odd, unexplainable noises are heard and EVP’s are picked up. Thomas Ince, a screenwriter from the silent era, is said to be here.
