Room 003 is said to be visited by the apparition of a former caretaker nicknamed the Night Stalker, who reportedly enters during the early morning hours and remains until acknowledged. A female chef said to have died in a fire has reportedly been seen in the kitchen and dining room, while the apparition of a miner has been observed sitting near the fire. Staff have also reported the unexplained scent of burning candles after closing time.
