THE STORY
Reported Haunting
The Del Oro Theatre in Grass Valley, California, is a historic 1942 Art Deco movie palace famously haunted by a former projectionist nicknamed "George." Longtime employees and night managers frequently witness classic poltergeist activity, including heavy doors slamming shut on their own, the smell of phantom popcorn coming from the dark lobby, and theater seats inexplicably flipping down as if an invisible guest just sat down.
This theater is said to be haunted by several resident ghosts.
