Reported Haunting
The Dogwood Cocktail Cabin is rumored to be haunted by spirits connected to Crested Butte's mining era. Employees have reported phantom footsteps, shadow figures, and glasses moving without anyone nearby. Patrons also describe unexplained cold spots and an unseen presence after closing.
Before Dogwood Cocktail Cabin was a lounge, it was an actual cabin where miners once lived–and some still do. The ghosts of deceased miners are said to show up as anomalies on photographs taken inside.
