The Dorothea Puente House is infamous as the former home of serial killer Dorothea Puente. Visitors have reported shadow figures, disembodied voices, unexplained footsteps, and an overwhelming feeling of dread around the property. Many believe the tragic events associated with the house have left a lingering paranormal presence.
The Puente House was a boarding house for senior citizens, but owner Dorothea Puente was convicted of murdering her tenants and burying them in the yard so she could cash in their social security checks. Photographs taken of the house have shown anomalies and ectoplasm mist.
