Guests at the historic Driftwood Resort have reported unexplained footsteps, strange noises, and sightings of a man wearing a hat and suspenders. Some believe the apparition may be founder Waldo Sexton, whose spirit is said to continue watching over the unusual beachfront property.
Former owner Waldo Sexton is the haunt who resides here, a man who was known to be a bit eccentric. Guests who stay in the suites once occupied by the Sextons have reported hearing noises coming from adjacent empty rooms, and security guard once felt a tap on his shoulder by an unseen hand.
