Dundas Castle, also known as Craig-e-Clair, is a neo-Gothic estate near Roscoe constructed during the early twentieth century. Paranormal folklore holds that the castle is haunted by the spirit of Maria Gilbert, wife of architect Bradford Gilbert. Her apparition has reportedly been seen wandering the property. A more fantastic local legend claims that three heart-shaped ponds on the estate turn blood-red during the full moon.
