THE STORY
Reported Haunting
Visitors and investigators have reported a young boy, an older male apparition, shadow figures, unseen forces and unexplained movement of furniture inside the historic mill building.
The Shoppes at the Finish Line occupy a historic Utica mill building associated with the city's nineteenth-century textile industry. A destructive fire struck the mill complex in 1871, and later paranormal traditions became attached to the rebuilt property. Reported activity includes the apparitions of a young boy and an older man, shadowy figures, unseen forces and furniture moving on the upper floors. The property has hosted paranormal investigations and ghost hunts by appointment.
